So they weren't a chatty bunch then, Tessa thought, looking at her boat companions. Drew actually seemed pretty nervous. She would have reassured him but he didn't explicitly say he was nervous or scared, so she kept her mouth shut about it and just smiled kindly at him. Reading people's emotions was not her strong point, after all. That being said, it didn't take a genius to figure out that one of the others in the boat - a young Slytherin girl - was not a people person. Luckily for that girl, it was class so Tessa wasn't in her usual social-butterfly mood. She kept her focus on the light of (hopefully) Headmaster Trent's boat. It sounded like it was coming from there, but it was hard to tell.

Unsurprisingly, Tessa wasn't listening to everything the Headmaster was saying. She could hear his voice but it wasn't that clear and, let's be honest, she was more focused on making sure they were following the right light. Drew had said straight forward, which she agreed with, so that was what they were doing.

That was until a SCREECH! made the lioness turn her head, instinctively trying to locate the source of the noise.

Creepy...........

When Tessa turned back to the front, she noticed that the lights were moving in different directions and she had no idea which one belonged to the Headmaster's boat. Uhhhhhhhh. So much for being focused. She glanced around at the others. "Which light are we following?" She tried to listen out for the Headmaster's voice but it was becoming increasingly difficult to pinpoint.
