Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Between the "MacKathy" and the "what is a Carden" Malachi had to fight to not facepalm then and there. The furthest he could stretch his self restraint was pinching at the bridge of his nose and taking a breath.

"Not a--" Hang on. The man shifted his clothing about uncomfortably, at first unable to put his finger on what made him so uncomfortable when he'd entered but now the man was sure he was all but slow cooking. "Circe sake, remove the warming charms, it's still summer." He hadn't miss Bergis's request to have them removed on himself. Wait no, not Bergis....he was related to that Prefect. Botros! There we go. The man could only imagine how many more were suffering. "We don't need children sent to the Healer from feeling faint." Too long in here and that was an absolute probability.

But more to the point. Malachi flicked his wand toward the Max who'd tried sinking down and being inconspicuous, unaware he'd chosen the correct one. The charm would cause him to stand immediately. "This is a Carden. A Maxton Carden." Tree Boy for short. "You have four more of him." Oh Merlin, forget it, he was wasting his time explaining to her. Trent turned to the class. "The five of you now have an appointment with me, after class, while we sort this out. My office." He ended the charm so the boy could regain his seat if he so chose to. "I'll be waiting here in the back to escort you lot myself." Didn't notice how many of them were there, would likely forget to send them there after class. No, he'd take care of this himself. "Let me also take this moment to remind the entire class that polyjuice use is not allowed at Hogwarts." He was interrupting their lesson and so would try to be brief but it needed to be said. These students wer a bit too liberal with their potion use about the castle and seemed to care naught for the consequences--because those still existed, Scrimgeour gone or not. "There are several reason behind it, if anyone would like to accompany these students to my office to find out. Short version, don't do it." Now that they'd all be warned, the next instance of polyjuice would not be handled so kindly.

"I'll assume the other student leaders all collectively decided to report this but for the sake of their education chose to send only one of you. It sucks being that guy, but this is blatant and sloppy breaking of the rules. Too sloppy to be ignored." Right in the presence of a professor--albeit one that took no notice.....but a professor nonetheless. Blatant disregard. It was almost too bold, in that it said they didn't care about being caught and there being consequences and that was never okay. "Sorry to interrupt. Continue with your lesson."

And with that he took a seat at the back--and removed the warming charms himself. Merlin, he wouldn't be able to sit here under those conditions.
