She gave up on trying to befriend Harri and resolved to try again another day without saying anything else. That would surely just make things worse (it had been a long -- or short, depending on how you think of it -- morning, as she could hardly sleep and rolled out of bed not too long ago, not even stopping to look in a mirror before class).

Her -- or his -- cheeks burned red in light of Professor Dopple's response to the small (or large, since it was quite important) talk. "Sorry, Professor Dopple...," she murmured, her lips effectively sealed after the utterance of those words. She might not even attempt to answer further questions... though that would probably make her (him) look even worse.

Muggle cures for hiccups... perfect. Charlie!Max made a conscious effort to sit up straight, feeling a little bit better about everything in light of the simple question. She rose her hand, responding with "Well, my mum always had me put a drop of vinegar or sugar on my tongue. That is supposed to help."
