On the one hand, Stas had caught the fact her answer had been accepted as brightly as the others, but by now she really wasn’t sure if that was a good thing. Maybe the heat was getting to the professor, or to the rest of them. Adding in the plethora or Max Cardens, it was all getting a bit too surreal to handle. She was trying to keep it together though. She needed to be a good example for the younger Gryffindors, after all. She was a prefect. That meant something, and she was still immensely grateful that they weren’t required to write down everyone’s transgressions for punishment purposes. Not that she’d ever really gotten on board with the notebooks last term, aside from her surreptitious one.

The important part was that she really wasn’t sure Professor Dopple was entirely sane anymore. At the very least, she was starting to wonder what the purpose of the nametags was when it was obvious the professor couldn’t see well at all. She hadn’t noticed Derf’s disappearance, nor obviously the head boy’s reappearance. Which Stasya had but stayed silent. Especially as he’d been followed not too much later by the headmaster an she was smart enough to connect the dots. Derf had gone to the headmaster, and she would’ve felt guilty for not doing the same if it hadn’t reminded her the tiniest bit of the situation last term. Not to mention she blinked at whatever the name Professor Dopple had called the headmaster by. It didn’t sound right at all. Nametags.

She’d raised her hand at the next question, though, even though it had brought even more questions into her head. Last she’d checked it was Charms class, not Muggle Studies, and the fact the headmaster’s question hadn’t really been answered bothered her too. She didn’t mention either thought, however. “Some people think holding their breath can stop a case of the hiccups, but I’m not sure how well that works,” she said instead.

Heat stroke was a thing, right?
