Maybe someone else will ask it, maybe she'll give a hint at her age?
Right anyways. This classroom felt so hot like it was Disney World in the summer or somewhere equally as hot. That kneazle looked like it might actually be cooking. "Hello, Professor." Mark gave her a small smile and went to the desks.
Mark set up camp at a desk not far from the front and took a moment to read the handwriting. No hint toward her age yet, only that old boney fingers probably couldn't hold onto chalk.
He wrote his name in block letters on the piece of paper and folded it as instructed. A beaming smile rested on Dolly's face when her first student arrived. "Hello, dear," she replied as the boy went to find a desk. And so it began! Quote:

The fourth year stepped into the room and was immediately greeted with the stuffiness of a way-too-hot room. DEAR MERLIN. She was already shuffling around trying to remove her jacket as she looked up at the lady before her. "Hello, Professor Dopple," she said, making her way into the room. The professor looked like she was about to burst into flames of energy over this very class, but her kneazle looked like it had seen a better day. Poor thing.
Torii took a seat and set to work making her name tag. Or table tent. Whatever Dopple was calling it. She wrote her name as big as she could, just like the professor asked. Whatever makes her happ... ier. As the next student entered the room and took off her jacket - see, this was why she kept the heat on! She didn't want anyone to get cold in here! "Hello there, sweetheart!" she said as the young girl found her seat. Quote:

Peeling off her sweater, she moved to one of the... middle desks towards the side, a bit more hesitant than before. For one, it was like death in here so that was a certain no for her, and two, there was death sitting at the front of the classroom. Not the professor, goodness no, but whatever it was that was on the desk. Hmm. Might as well busy herself with those instructions. Mariam Belrose Another cute little student had arrived and Dolly gave her a little wave, despite the silent greeting she had received. Some students were just shy! Quote:

Bel was EXCITED for a brand new professor. Not that she had any issue with Professor Marchand personally, it was more the CHARMS bit that was problematic for her, and maybe it was wishful thinking but if a new professor could somehow make one of her hardest subjects stick then that would be bonza! She had special permission to continue with Charms. And Transfiguration. And Defense Against the Dark Arts. The wandwork subjects basically. After having got only Ps on all her OWLs for those, maybe she should've just chucked it all in and given up. It was just that after all that Inferi business the term before last, she kind of felt that giving up was not the best of ideas. If she could learn a bit more, maybe just get some more of the basics under control, then at least she could finish school knowing she'd tried and done her best. She had better sit down yeah? Bel glanced around and then bagsed herself an empty spot, saving one seat for Derfael and then turning her attention to the instructions, the paper, the.... water? And also the kneazle. It was cute in an unfortunate kind of way.
And if she was to make a table tent, Bel felt that just a folded bit of paper wasn't QUITE enough. Carefully she tore off one thin long end of the paper and put it aside. Then she wrote her name as big as she could, and made the folded tent thing which was obviously so that the professor could see who they were. Big because of being old maybe? She had gone with just her first name, to maximize the bigness.
That done, she had the little paper name tent folded and up, hers slightly shorter than most cos of the bit she'd torn off.... which she now busied herself into making into a little paper campfire, with little paper flames. No ACTUAL fire involved -again, she didn't have the magical skill for that- but more... origami style. At least some semblance of it. Yep. That she put in 'front' of the tent at its 'entrance'. Entertaining herself and also maybe taking the tent thing a little too seriously. But still, her name was BIG on there. BEL. That was her. And definitely would be readable even to little old lady eyes right?
Noowww to bask more in the warmth. Niceeee. A new energy filled the room when the next student entered and Dolly gave her a wave as well. "Good day to you too!" she replied cheerfully as she found her way. How lovely were these students?! Quote:

Shrugging off his sweater and taking a seat behind Torii he greeted both her and the professor. “Hello Professor Dopple. Hi Torii” he let his voice drop to not be as loud to greet Torii. He wondered what charms would be like and what they’d learn for the day it was always interesting. Tsk, tsk, another student shedding their layers. Perhaps she'd have to turn the heat up even more! "Hello there, dear. Let me know if you get cold!" and she would turn up the heat just for him! Quote:

He folds the paper and puts it back on the table, waiting for the class to officially begin. The silent greeters didn't bother her one bit! Dolly replied with a wide, wrinkly grin and a nod back to him. Quote:

Seriously, it wasn't even that cold outside yet. Nothing that a sweater couldn't handle, anyway. And speaking of sweaters, she couldn't even take hers off, for decency reasons. So she was going to be stuck baking like a potato. No, wait. She actually envied the potato. At least they only had to suffer for, like, fifteen minutes. This class was going to run for an hour. "Hello, professor." Ugh, she was already sweating as she sank into her seat.
Oh, wait. She had magic. She cast a cooling charm around her body and let out an "Ah!" as it went to work. Much better.
What was this on her desk? Oh, she had to make a nameplate. Now that the paper wasn't at risk of sticking to sweaty arms, that would be easy. She quickly scrawled her name and folded the paper like so, placing it towards the front. There. Now what? "Hello, hello!" she chirped croaked cheerfully when the next student greeted her. Oh, they were just so darling! These young things, they were really going to help her stay HIP. Quote:

Well, uh, to each her own?
Making a beeline towards one of the vacant desks, she eyed the instructions on the board and wrote down her name. There.
...But oh. It...won't...stay...up... Another cheerful student made Dolly smile even more, if it were possible! "Good morning, my dear," she responded with a sickeningly sweet smile. She did happen to notice that the girl was struggling to keep her name tent up, however, so Dolly sent a quick little stiffening charm over to her paper to help her out. Quote:

She sat down and found the nameplate on her desk. Reading the instructions on the board, Mary scrawled her name across the tag in neat lettering Mary Muldoon When another silent student entered the room, Dolly gave her a warm smile and a wave, just to make sure she felt welcome. Quote:

The sun always did that to him.
Setting himself down at a desk on his own near a window so he could still feel the sun on his skin, he pulled out his quill and books on his desk, careful not to hit over the cup of clear liquid in front of him before finally following the instructions on the board and writing his name on a piece of parchment in a some what neat and large style. Folding his paper carefully, he placed it on the desk in front of him before his attention finally turned to the ancient woman that lay before the class. Not wanting to seem rude, he greeted her in a warm manor “Good Morning Professor Dopple”. A smiling face entered and Dolly lifted her wrinkly fingers to wave at him as he entered. He followed the directions well, too. And then when he finally said hello, Dolly smiled again. "Good morning, my dear." Quote:

She'd done it many times before in her muggle courses, so she was feeling quite good about Charms at this point.
At this point, it was time to extend a greeting to the professor. " Good morning, professor," Charlie greeted quite positively (as much as was possible on a school-day morning). The desks were starting to fill up, so she scanned the rows quickly for one that was empty. She then spotted an empty desk beside a gryffindor first-year ( Harri) she could have sworn was named Henrietta (Charlie had perfect memory, of course).
"You're, um... Henrietta, right? I'm Charlie. It's a pleasure," she stated matter-of-factly, pulling a piece of parchment out of her satchel and folding it like a hot-dog. After itching at the back of her neck, he dipped a quill from the same satchel in a pot of ink and scribbled her name on the hot-dog: Christ on a cracker, it was hot in here.... It was a good morning indeed! Dolly was quite ready and excited to get the lesson started, but she had a few more minutes to go and several more students needed to arrive first. "Good morning," she said cheerfully to the next who arrived, appreciating her positivity. Quote:

"Hello, Professor Dopple, I love the splash of color you added to the room!," Rylee chirped excited nodding her head towards the streamers. She was one of those that loved to add some color and her own style to things, like the purple ribbon that was braided into a small section of her hair today, courtesy of Anni during breakfast. Oh, lookit! There was a kitty! Hi kitty!
Smiling at everyone she found herself an empty desk and sat down taking out all her things. It was only after she had her things out that she folded the parchment on her desk in half as instructed, dipped her unicorn quill into some brightly colored ink and wrote her name nice and large across the parchment.
Sitting the parchment up nicely on her desk, she sat back on her chair, feet swinging back and forth a little bit. Another positive attitude entered the room and sent Dolly BEAMING again. And she liked her streamers! ”Why thank you, my dear! I’m so glad you like them.” Dolly quite thought they were a nice touch too! Quote:

Taking a seat, Abra looked automatically at the board and had to sort of... stop and stare for a moment. No... no, he couldn't read that handwriting, and he wasn't even going to try. Instead, he glanced around to see what everyone else was doing, and his eyes landed on Bel, with her big old name tag thingy right in front of her. Others had done the same, so Abra went ahead and assumed that was what the paper on the desk was for. He got his quill and ink out from his bag, and followed suit.
When he was done, and the paper folded and on his desk, Abra looked up and his eyes fell on the... the... was that a dead kneazle? Like, a literal dead kneazle, not the wrockstar kind? No... it couldn't be... it was surely alive, right? ... Abra stared steadily at it for a while, as though to make absolutely sure. Dolly was pleased by the expression on this boy’s face when he came into the room. See, warm was always better. ”Hello, dearest,” she responded as he went to his seat. Quote:

That was big enough right? Her name was kind of long so she didn't have much space to make it bigger. Plus, was the heat safe for that kneazle? Maybe it's had a heat stroke already.. Anyway. Folding the paper into a a tent, Steph set it on her desk and proceeded to put her hair up in a high, messy bun. At least her hoops earrings wouldn't keep getting caught in her hair now. Why, was she having trouble getting in the room? Dolly noticed the hesitation, but she made it alright in the end. Oh, good. ”Hello there,” she replied with a WARM smile. Quote:

Max gave the ancient old woman an uneasy look on his way past to find an empty desk. Super old people gave him the heebie jeebies. She looked like she was a few days away from becoming one of the ghosts roaming the corridors.
After checking out the blackboard and what everyone else was doing, Max scribbled out his name, folded it and propped it up for the woman to see. Nice and big for her deteriorating eyeballs.

Already fanning herself with her hand she wondered if she could maybe take her robes off so it would at least just be her uniform. Though she didn't want to be the first to ask about it, for now she would keep her questions in her head. "Hello Professor, how are you today?"
Happy she could actually talk to them again without them speaking first Chloe spotted the Kneazle. "Oh your Kneazle is lovely, what is its name?" It looked old though, so maybe it liked to be left alone.

He entered the classroom giving the professor a small smile and nod in greet and took a seat somewhere in the middle glancing around to see whether there was anyone he recognised. Nope. He eyed what looked like a weird stuffed cat that was perched on the professors desk and wrinkled his nose. Was that necessary? His eyes moved to the board where the first lesson instructions were written. Name tags. How muggle. He scrawled his name in big enough handwriting for the old lady to read. Caolan Wilson.
He hated writing down his name rather than pronouncing it. Everybody got it wrong, he’d heard them all. His personal favourite was Ka-oo-lan which was so wrong it made him chuckle every time someone said it. It worked both ways though, if he’d had a pound for every time he’d received Christmas cards from classmates who would spell his name incorrectly he would’ve been able to afford the football team he supported’s new kit by now.
He slumped in his seat and waited for the lesson to start. Dolly wasn’t actually reading any of the name tents just yet, she just wanted them there for future reference. This boy was silent, but she gave him a wrinkled finger wave anyway. Quote:

Oh, because she wasn't Zoryn Spinnet today. She was Maxton Carden. Thank you, polyjuice! Max (aka Zoryn) walked into the classroom and looked around slightly nervously, passing their Professor because Maxton wasn't one for small talk and went to take a seat near the middle of the room like a true pro. Honestly, if being Maxton Carden was a job, Zoryn would've won a promotion on her first day.
Settling down, Max took out a quill and scrawled out her new his name.
After putting her his name plate in front of her him, she he took a look around the room. ALSKDFJAS;DLF.
UH. Yes, that is right. She did a full on DOUBLE TAKE at the sight of one (real) Maxton Carden (because she was going to give her best performance today, duh). So that's who she was today. She shuffled into class the way she'd practised with Zoryn, head ducked, back slouched as though she couldn't hide well enough inside her newly-expanded robes. She didn't even greet the professor beyond a little nod, because that's what Max Carden would do, and as rehearsed, took a seat next to a Max Carden.
Because she was sure Max Carden would do that if he had the chance.
She just hoped this was the right Max Carden (read: the Zoryn!Max) that she was with, but if it wasn't, well, this should still be fun. Probably. Also, was it hot in her or what? It was really too bad Max Carden didn't have enough hair to tie into a ponytail because some of it was sticking to Faith's Max's neck and it was highly uncomfortable.
She rubbed the back of her neck (because that seemed like something Max would do) and then glanced around as discreetly as she could, and noticed that they had name card tents. She had pretty terrible handwriting but she was sure it wouldn't be distinguishable from the Real Max by a new teacher, right? So she made herself a name tent, with her fake new name.
Then seeing two of the three other Maxes currently in class fixing each other with looks, she joined in the staring competition. Which Max was the real Max? The one next to her? Or the one across the room?
DUN DUN DUN. The fourth Max entered the room, immediately right after the last, and Dolly Dopple had not a clue. He sure did have bad posture though, didn’t he? But that was all she noticed, you see. See, and there was another silent one! Dolly gave him a wave - and, well, no he wasn’t silent after all. He asked a question instead of saying hello. What was happening? Ok, ok. She composed herself, which was really hard to do, believe her, and entered the classroom. She then gave the Professor the slightest of acknowledgements before scanning the classroom for a good place to s- OH, LOOK AT ALL THE MAXES. Don't laugh, don't laugh, don't laugh. Phew. Clearing her throat in what she hoped was a discreet, Max-like manner, she took a seat a couple of places in front of another Max. Tessa made eye contact with one of the Maxes and glanced down at their name tag. She could definitely replicate that.
There.
She was Max and she had a name tag to prove it. The fifth Max entered and Dolly looked at him with a look of surprise. ”You, my boy! You look quite familiar - have we met before?” Perhaps he was a great-great-great grandson of hers or something. Quote:

Now that the young boy had rationalized thing he put his mind back on the very simple task Professor Dopple had given them.
There. He folded it in half, careful to make the bend nice and precise, and then placed the little tent dead-center on his desk.

But then again, maybe that meant the old lady wouldn't know good magic from bad and she'd get an O on her NEWT...
With thoughts of scamming her way through Charms, Natalie entered the classroom and felt the heat hit her like a brick wall. Merlin, it was hot! Shedding her coat, Natalie found a seat next to her friend Vita and sat down beside her. "Hi," she said with a grin towards the girl as she got her book out.
Seeing her little name tent, Natalie looked up at the board and saw some instructions. Some very... illegible instructions. But seeing as though everyone else had done the same thing, Natalie got out a piece of paper and did the same. Natalie McKinley
Placing the tent on her desk, Natalie was just about to say something to Vita when she saw Max pass by. Which wasn't an odd thing (though she was proud of him for coming to class), but she had sworn she had already seen him in the back of the class, so she did a double take... and another. And then looked at the Max over there... and then another Max over there... and another??? "What the..." This young girl greeted only her friend, but that was just fine. Her friend was quite pretty anyway, so Dolly didn’t mind. Still, she greeted her with a warm smile in case she chose to greet her. Quote:

Streamers and a cat that didn’t look too well was what he made out as he moved again, this time to find a seat. “Good morning, Professor.” Seated, he took out his textbook and supplies before getting to work on the instructions on the board. A few strokes of his quill and folds of the paper and there was a name tag at the edge of his workspace claiming it and him as one No matter what the boy was thinking, his greeting was polite and proper and Dolly appreciated it. ”Good morning, my boy,” she said in reply as he found his seat. Kind of like that Kneazle on the desk.
It wasn't until she sat down and got out her quill, scribbling her name...
...that she noticed something was OFF.
Um, WHY were there so many Max Carden's in the room? Blink blink blink. She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Nope, there were quite a few people who were apparently masquerading at the Slytherin Prefect today. Um...ok. What was the point of all this? This girl wasn’t the first to look quite confused at her surroundings. Dolly wondered what it could be! Quote:

She would at least try one, and then if she didn't like it she wouldn't come back. And that was why Melody was making her way up to the charms class room. Hopefully none of her class mates would be too annoying. Because she already hated most of them.
It appeared that she had thought too soon. Because she moment she walked into the room.... she nearly walked back out. Why were there so many of that one kid. She was sure that there were not quintuplets at the school. "Idiots" She muttered, rolling her eyes. What was going on here. She took a deep breath, and then found herself a seat. Really. This school was really one thing after another.
She shook her head, and wrote her name onto the parchment, before making it into a little tent. There. Hopefully the lesson would go on soon. She couldn't deal with being here longer than she had to be. Especially when her fellow peers were such idiots. Another young girl entered the room and Dolly was just about to say hello when she heard her say something under her breath that she couldn’t quite make out. ”What was that, my dear?” Do speak up, Dolly was quite old. WRONG.
Lucas jogged the last few paces into the class, a little later than normal but hey, he made it! He let out a small sigh of relief as he headed into the room and saw that there was no teaching going on, no stares at him hopefully and definitely no door shut in his face because he was too late. His eyes found the Professor and he decided to greet her first. "Hello Profess......." Uh, was that a kneazle on her desk? A DEAD kneazle??? "...... sor."
Yeah, he was..... starting to feel uncomfortable. Maybe he should go and sit-
.........
........ UH..........
Lucas blinked. Multiple times. Lots of blinking as he looked at the...... five? clones. Yeah, five. There were FIVE versions of that one Slytherin Prefect. Confused? You bet he was. He walked over to a desk, a little slower than he would've as he took a proper look at all the same faces. Was this some kind of prank for the new Professor? Or were they all part of a secret fan club and, uh, this was their way of showing it? Dressing up like their idol??
Lucas didn't know and, as he reached the desk, he realised that maybe, he shouldn't ask. Instead, he sat down and started writing his name as big as he could make it:
There. Folding it in half, he set the little tent down on the desk before looking around at the classroom at anywhere but the five Prefects or the dead kneazle at the front. Which, uh, turned out to be difficult but he tried. His eyes found the cup on his desk and the streamers up on the ceiling and.....
....... was it him or was it hot in here? Like, really hot.
This time, it had nothing to do with how he was feeling. It was hot in here.
Odd. Well, Dolly was beginning to grow quite nervous! Perhaps she had her work cut out for her! All these students seemed so lost and confused! She would have to start from scratch and teach them all EVERYTHING. ”Hello dear...” she said hesitantly. Quote:

So, he wouldn't be staying in his robe this entire class.
Whew.
Okay. "Hello, hello!" He was here! Ready to learn something................ Huh. Aaron blinked a few times, slowly. There were many Maxs in class today... One of these things was not like the others. If he were to copy anyone, he'd put Abey's name on his parchment... As he parked himself in a seat (next to Ronan, hey Ronan!), he went about shedding his school robe, and digging out some parchment. Maybe next time!
He would've added a little bee in the corner, but turns out, Aaron Botros wasn't an artist. Not like his cousin. And there was another one that had walked in, walked out, and then walked back in. Perhaps it was a new trend! ”Hello, dear,” she said sweetly as he came in. Quote:

While he was staring, he accidentally banged his knee against one of the tables and winced in pain as he decided to use that desk to sit down. Since that had hurt that meant that he was definitely not dreaming. Merlin's Beard what if he was dreaming about multiple Max Carden's right now?! The thought alone made him shiver and he quickly tried pinching his arm to see if it hurt. My, my... This was going to be tougher than she thought. The poor boy looked so confused! Forget the professor. Forget the kneazle of questionable longevity. Forget the welcoming warmth. All Derf saw was a plethora of Maxton Cardens and one of them looking absolutely shocked and, perhaps, even a little in horror.
So Maxton, the real Maxton, did not know...meaning there had been no consent to change into him. His brain wanted, desperately, to write this off as some advanced transfigurations...but he knew better. This was Polyjuice Potion and Derfael Mitchell Ashburry-Hawthorne was not here for it. Being tied up by Levi Kenning in the library to have a chit chat after polyjuicing into him as a third year had left QUITE the impression on Derf. He had learned some very important lessons then, namely to think about and be prepared to take ownership of the consequences of your actions. And then last term, learning that he had been LIVING (literally) with professors who had polyjuiced into unknown teenagers for months and everything that came with this...no one could blame him for being sensitive to this.
No one.
Taking a VERY tentative step into the classroom, Derf found one TINY glimmer of hope in this storm brewing inside his chest. "Will we be working on the more advanced used of Revelio today, professor?" he inquired, loudly. His tone on edge and a bit dangerous sounding. Because he was ready to use that charm on the Maxton that was looking the most pleased with itself. Another student walked in and Dolly immediately offered him a bright cheery smile. Expecting one in return, Dolly was quite surprised when she was greeted with... a loud question. Revelio? Advanced? Well, perhaps this boy was the only one who wasn’t confused! Perhaps he wanted to take advanced lessons! ”Why no, my dear, we are not. Why do you ask? Oh! I could offer you some advanced lessons, if you’d like!” How strange. Quote:

Not that she had anything against the new Charms professor. The woman almost reminded her of her grandmother, although not exactly. She was grandmotherly, anyhow.
The other thing that she hadn’t expected as she’d arrived was to find the Charms classroom resembling the sauna her grandparents back in Iceland had near their house, minus all the wood paneling. It was positively toasty in the classroom. The other comparison that had flickered through her mind was the thought that maybe this was what it was like for the cookies she made whenever she had free time when they were in the ovens to bake. Either way, it was a crystal clear difference from the temperature out in the corridor, and she tried to figure out how to adjust to the change. Taking her robe off seemed like a god idea, but for now she decided to just see if she adjusted to the heat without shedding uniform layers. At least she hadn’t put her sweater on yet.
The presence of nearly half a dozen versions of the male Slytherin prefect had definitely caught her attention, too, but she kept her reaction to a bit of a double-take instead of saying anything aside from her usual greeting to the professors. Now that they weren’t dealing with those from last term who didn’t think a greeting was respectful. “Good day, Professor Dopple,” she said with a smile, taking her seat at an open desk and eyeing the cup before clearly writing her name on the paper.
Once she’d finished writing, she folded the paper and stood it up as the instructions requested. Hopefully she’d written clear enough. Another girl walked in and she seemed quite promising! ”And a good day to you, my dear!” Quote:

She seemed to be happy here.. he couldn't but feel a bit weird at the sight. But he had to be polite so his smile may have widened a bit more out of nervousness. Yeah, time to sit down.
He went to sit by the other Ravenclaw guys before reading the board. Make a name tag, not a problem.
There, all done. He eyed the room as others joined in... Wait, didn't that older Slytherin come in already? His eyes seemed to be playing tricks at first, but nope. There was more of him.. Wow, and they're all identical. No way.. this was too weird. It didn't make sense to him. A young boy entered next and Dolly gave him an encouraging, cheery grin. Quote:

Huh.
Chloe seated herself primly at a desk near Bel and gave the girl a pointed look. "You need to do something about this... Oh, good day, Professor. That's a lovely little kneazle... you... have there." Bit patchy and frazzled looking, but still lovely. Chloe scratched a persistent itch on her elbow as she studied all the many Max's.
Oh, her name tag! Chloe folded the paper and wrote a cheerful, loopy CHLOE KETTLEBURN across it. She greeted the next girl with another cheery smile, which only brightened when she mentioned her kneazle. ”Oh, why thank you! Her name is Ruby.” Or was it Robin...? Rachel? Oh, no matter. Quote:

Originally Posted by MadMadamMalfoy Tina didn't want to come to charms class at all today - or ever, to be honest. Professor Dopple was one of two professor who gave her a bad vibe at the feast, and the simple fact that she was here instead of the only person Tina knew with ties to Hogwarts automatically put her in the French girl's bad graces. Not that she blamed the woman personally; she would've felt the same toward anybody standing at the front of this classroom. Honestly, could she just boycott charms? Probably not; it was too early for Tina to start getting into trouble. Changing schools again wasn't an option, and she didn't want to encounter the headmaster any more than she had to.
So Tina was here, but she felt she was betraying a family friend with her presence. She knew what he'd say. He'd want her to be kind and give the new professor a chance, but nope, sorry! Fantine Sophie Dantes didn't just hand out chances! Her respect had to be earned, and so far things weren't off to a good start.
The first thing she noticed was how stiflingly hot the room was. Did Professor Dopple pick a room temperature to match her age or something? Tina was tempted to remove her robes and sweater and loosen her tie, but she kept her full uniform on as a sign that she wasn't about to let her guard down around this professor, opting instead to cast a cooling charm on herself. Her dark eyes darted from the streamers to the obviously dead kneazle at the front of the room. Please tell me that kneazle is a lesson aid, Tina thought. Otherwise... she didn't even want to think about the implications! "Good morning, professor," Tina greeted with rigid politeness, giving the professor a nod but not a smile. Tina wasn't going to pretend to feel all happy and smiley when she didn't. Believe it or not, this was the most positive attitude she could muster!
Tina's dark eyes widened as she saw several students who looked exactly like each other, all of whom had the name MAX written on their name tags. Obviously a prank of some kind... She rolled her eyes, inwardly groaning as she plopped down in a vacant seat at the back of the room. Whatever was going on, it was so juvenile! She may not want Professor Dopple as her charms teacher, but she didn't condone messing with her head like that, especially when she already seemed a little...off.
Whatever, it didn't concern her. Tina was just going to let the Max-a-millions carry on with their childish prank. Instead she focused on making a name tag. She wrote her name in big letters on a piece of paper, but she didn't stop there. "Figura butterfly," she whispered under her breath, pointing her wand, and a butterfly appeared under her name. "Colorvaria." The butterfly turned purple. Satisfied with her work, Tina neatly folded the paper into a little tent and stuck it on the edge of her desk... not that she expected anyone to understand the symbolic meaning behind her drawing. That was more for her. And when the last student walked in, Dolly didn’t register any reluctance or snarkiness at all! But how polite was she! ”Good morning, dearest!” She was just so lucky to get polite students!
After the last student had walked through the door, Dolly checked her watch (that she was too blind to read) and clapped her wrinkly hands together, her wrinkly, saggy arm flab flapping around as a result. ”Good MORNING, my lovely, wonderful, young and beautiful students! Welcome to Charms Class!” Her high pitched scratchy voice echoed through the room as the last few students got settled into their seats and set up their name tents. ”I want you all to stay nice and warm, so just let me know if you get too cold, alright?” she asked seriously, her big eyes widening to look at all her darling students. It was only 700 degrees in there, after all!
She clapped her hands together again to indicate that she was going to begin the lesson. Surely they knew what that meant. ”Now, why don’t we begin with a little brainstorming activity! We want to get your brains CHURNING! Don’t we!” Hopefully they all ate their breakfast this morning like she had told them to! ”I want you aaaaaall to think about some little things that happen in life that are just annoying! Something irritating! Like...” Dolly’s face wrinkled up (even more than normal) as she thought to herself. Then she suddenly jumped, her pointer finger aggressively pointing towards the ceiling as if a lightbulb had turned on. ”Oh! I just hate it when it gets all windy and my hair poofs up!” She had spent some good money on her perms, after all. ”Go ahead,” she continued ”and brainstorm some little things that you wish could be fixed by a simple charm. OR, give me a charm that DOES fix something irritating like that. Raise your hands!” OOC: Class has officially begun! As you can see, Dolly is OLD AS HECK and has no idea that there are seven thousand Max Cardens. Please RP some responses to this! It could be quite fun to see what you come up with! Just for clarification, Dolly wants you all to come up with something that bothers your student that could be easily fixed with a charm (ie bluebell flames when you’re cold). This can be something that DOES or DOES NOT already have a charm for. Class will move on in about 24 hours.
