Text Cut: Background


Kassandra was born in London, England to Victor and Gloria Washington. She had an average childhood until her parents divorced in the middle of her fourth year at Hogwarts. Her father decided to move to Brazil and work for the Brazilian Ministry of Magic. Kassandra took the opportunity to apply to the Castelobruxo exchange program and finished out her education in Brazil.

After graduating, she attended Wizarding University, where she met and married Roland Sutton. They had a lovely life together for several years. Their daughter was born and they spent several years trying for a second child. Not long after finding out she was pregnant, Roland and her daughter, Isabel, took a trip to England. Tragically, they were both killed in an accident on their return trip. A few months later, her son Victor was born. It was then that Kassandra decided to leave her consulting job with the Federal Police of Brazil and take on a safer position with the Brazilian Ministry of Magic. She loved her time at the Brazilian Ministry, but knew she wanted her son to attend Hogwarts and hopefully be a Ravenclaw like she was.
