SIX-WORD STORIES This game was inspired by Ernest Hemingway's famous six-word tale "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." The "six-word story" or flash fiction has served as a prompt that tests each writer's ability to create his/her own brief masterpieces with all sorts of clever results. The rules for this game are simple: write a story that contains a total of six words. But what should your stories focus on? In the post before yours, a character, place, creature, etc. factual or fictional, will be listed. Simply write a six-word story based on what is listed in the post before you, and then leave something for the next poster to write about. But be careful! Remember you are telling a story and not just simply describing the word above you!
