With ears like his, it didn't take long for Maddox to hear the commotion coming from the food court. It'd been a quick run down to the atrium with every intention of disappearing back to level three but...well....he wasn't entirely sure what he was hearing. As it turned out, moving to the source to see didn't clarify things in the slightest.
Maddox came to a stop by January, feeling suddenly rather tired. Was it just him or did this entire scene look exhausting?
Someone would have to clean this up, someone would have to get these people off the-- "Megan?" Sweet Circe now he was obligated to care. What in Merlin's soggy pants was his employee doing up there with that pair (Val and Laurel)? No. Nooo. If he didn't ask, there wouldn't be an answer and he wouldn't have to put much effort into this.
With brows raised, he watched the young boy (Ronan) try to coax them off with words--because people who've obviously lost their mind enough to be on tables stuffing their faces and throwing food would CLEARLY respond to a few words. Quick guess, he'd never been a Ravenclaw.
When he was sufficiently worn out from watching the antics unfold, Maddox looked to January again. "As God awful as this sounds, we may need to do something about it." Couldn't just LEAVE them there....or they could but then if that got out later there would be inquiries and that sounded like a lot more work then ending it here. "Alright, wands out." He said, drawing his own. "First step is getting them away from the food, then someone have a look at them, see what's got them so zonked."
And with a flick of his own, he sent a levitating spell at Megan, trusting January and the boy to take the other two. No need to prolong the mess making.
