Alexa Cambridge regretted today dearly. Well, she did and didn't. It was great her kid got to enjoy a carnival, but taxing...oh so taxing. Add another two children to the bunch--one that refused to be put down--and Lex was solidly ready to be back at the manor sipping a drink and pretending she didn't know any of the blonde little demons.

It was unfortunate, she'd drawn the short straw. Arisa was now well into a spa day with her friends sans children and Lex was on sitter duty. It wasn't a real complaint, as this was typical of the pair. Depending on the day and what each had, the other took over the little people care. It was the only compromise to be had with such a nitpicky grandmother. The years had simply made them used to it.

Now, Lex couldn't imagine leaving her kid with just anyone, just in case. Didn't need her picking up the wrong kinds of bad habits.

The Head Auror ushered the 7, 5 and 2 year olds into their seats by the front as they'd eagerly insisted. It was abundantly clear they were looking forward to this more than she was.
