Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch

The crup's head jerked upward when the sound of the gasp hit his ears. Was the sniffing too much? Should he go away? For a moment the tail stopped wagging, but then it continued moving at rapid speed. The human girl seemed to like him! And she wanted to know his name!

A loud, playful bark left his mouth in response to her question. Benji. That was his name, if the humans by any chance happened to understand crup.

He then sat down, his head tilted to the side, tongue still sticking out. Pets? Benji LOVED pets. Thump, thump, thump went his tail on the cobbled street. He was waiting oh so very patiently, human friends!

Ryan was making his way through the maze of stuff to get to the counter in the middle of the shop. As he passed a few shelves and leapt over a bunch of random items, he heard Benji barking outside. It was nothing the man was concerned about, however; the mutt was more than familiar with the alley and was known to be friendly.

So the man just carried about his business. After removing his faux fur and setting it aside, he made himself comfortable on the chair behind the counter and was about to kick up his feet and enjoy a nice nap when...

Customers. Two of them.

Briefly peering over his sunglasses (because he was too lazy to take them off to be frank), he saw one boy was heading for the clothes and the second had just entered the building. He gave them each 'sup nods and that was that. The man wasn't the type who watched their customers like a hawk as he believed in letting people rummage at their leisure. He'd be hanging out at the counter if they needed him.
