Cole nodded as she spoke and he ran a hand through his hair. “Yeah, you could say that. You as well? ” It was more giving an excuse to stay at work and not have to go home. Though who did he have to give the excuse too? Certainly not his kids.

His empty house didn’t really care if he was there or not. Maybe his excuse was just for his own sanity.

“They are going all right so far, nothing to overwhelming so far. Though I guess I’m here late tonight. ” He said with a soft chuckle.
