Tara let their conversation fall to the wayside as Snape kissed her. His kiss was hungry and urgent... needier than she'd ever felt from him. He had needed her before, needed to feel wanted and desired, but this was a different need. She felt it as well, a proof of life and a proof that not only was she alive but that he was as well.
