Having Lilah home from school (even if he had technically kicked her out of her own room in her own house) had been a blessing that Albert didn't realise he was waiting for. It had honestly made both his and Saffron's lives a lot easier, and Reuben actually seemed to like her.

So did Saffron, actually, and that was weird in itself - her begrudging appreciation for the help her younger sister was providing with the baby was actually quite amusing.

But today Lilah was at Stemp House, and Alby had a couple of days off. And, having started to actually enjoy the presence of his son, he'd strapped Reubs into the pram and made his way to Diagon Alley in search of a gift of some sorts for his girlfriend.
