The Student Oasis
The garden set up for students has over the years since it's creation had spurts of activity and then fallen to the wayside. It has also changed shape with the student populus and the current Herbology professor in charge. Professor Wishart has worked hard over the summer to restore the garden into an oasis of how he remembered it to be in his school days. The garden still grows some plants that have been planted by former professor's and student's like puffapods and futterbies. The tool shed has been repainted to a nice earthly green colour that houses gardening tools, buckets, watering cans and compost.
The small, warm and shallow pond lined with giant Victoria Amazonica water lillies still borders the western edge of the garden. Brown wooden benches can be found around the garden that hardworking students can take a rest on after pulling up weeds or watering puffapods. Lining the student oasis is cherry tress that have stood on the grounds since term 15. The northern planters still grow the hybrid flowers created in term 16. Don't be put-off by already occupied planters however, there is still plenty of room for you, yes you there to leave your mark and grow something new and wonderfully green! |
