There was always one, wasn't there? You'd think tonight of all nights would be a good time to practice the school motto - to let sleeping dragons lie - and ensure they got home on time and in one piece. But no. And he couldn't even say he was surprised when he saw who it was so blatantly breaking the rules. Sterling just had to think she was better than everyone else.
Well, she wasn't.
Noble nodded at the Headmaster's words, a grumble already in his throat and a scowl on his lips. "Consider it sorted," he said. How he was going to sort it, he didn't specify. Nor did he give much of a reaction to the offered punishment for rule breakers, instead pushing back his chair and heading down to his house table, wand appearing in his hand from its holster.
If he was stuck down there for the speech too, then so be it. He was in no rush to eat.
