 Reaction to the rebels.
Did the stench hit Rafferty the second he stepped onto the corridor to his office? Yes. Yes, it did. He gagged and coughed. There was swearing which came out very muffled because he had locked his nose into the crook of an elbow. Rafferty realized the stench was only getting worst as he neared his office door. There was no hesitation for him. The door was pushed wide open. The carnage that greeted him made him drop his arm from his face. Those cold eyes widened in shock.
Spray painted words, cracked eggs. There were even things that looked like bodily fluids from creatures. His name plaque was smashed to bits. Rafferty’s hands balled into fists. A second later there was a bone chilling and inhuman growl that came from his throat. When he found out who did this they were going to regret they ever walked this earth.
