The end of the term was finally upon them. In all honesty, Scrimgeour was glad for it. It had been a long, strenuous term full of many surprises, and he was able to see the true colours of the many that roamed within its walls. He had much to think about over the summer on how to keep Hogwarts on the path to being great again.
Progress, there was much of it yet to be made. He knew exactly who what needed to go before next term began, what needed to still be implemented, and much more.
But the old man was setting all of that aside for now. A short break was needed, and he was going to start that with one last feast before the brats of Hogwarts and the handful of students returned home for the summer.
With every few steps he took, a low grunt escaped his mouth. The sound likely echoed in the empty hall, but that didn't matter to him. He arrived on his way until he was seated in his throne, his cold eyes gazing out at the doors of the dining hall, carefully watching and waiting as he tugged gently on his white beard.
