Archer walked into the Food Court, his arm around his beautifully glowing Pregnant wife's waist. The time off had been good, even if slightly frustrating. Archer was sure his plants would be in great need of some care, and he was anxious to get back to them and tend to their needs. But time with his wife, without having to go into work, had been perfect. They got to spend all day with their darling girls, and fill their days with fun activities.
Of course he needed to go and introduce himself to the Minister, but he would do that shortly. He looked around the Food Court, not imagining it would have looked anything other than an ordinary court. But walking in, it had changed enough that it accommodated adults and their cocktail hour. It was all rather charming. He got himself and Gabby a drink, non-alcoholic of course, and clinked his glass to hers. "To being back at work," he said, with a raise of his eyebrow. To the mixed emotions of having to leave his girls with Aoife during the day so that they could come and work. It wouldn't be long until he'd have to seek out his new department head, whom he already knew, and discuss a short period of leave. Yes, again.
