Not really all that interested. But the company of friends and possible new friends was up Bel's alley, so the Hufflepuff captain had gone on up, not bothered by the seven floors of travel required to get there. She'd arrived at the tale end of her teammate's little speech and gaped. Then looked at Max. Oh good, at least she wasn't the only one who was clueless.
And maybe a little torn. She liked their old professors, and had a ton of respect for the former headmistress, but honestly, more than anything else, Bel just wanted to get on with her own schooling and not worry about all that sort of thing. However she also aware of how stressful many of her friends and classmates felt all the changes and rules and strictness to be. She wasn't really sure what THEY could do, or if she wanted to be involved exactly, but Bel did want to be supportive.
"I'll keep watch outside." Bel spoke up. "Then if anyone comes I can stall them a bit." And you know, if everything went pear-shaped, what were a few more housepoints when Hufflepuff had no chance of winning the cup from all the losses so far? Good thing she didn't care about points! Bel gave everyone gathered a double thumbs up and slipped outside into the corridor. Yep. Keeping watch.
