Gaston wandered down the corridor, his cane click-clacking against the floor as if to warn of his arrival. The Deputy Headmaster looked just as thin and pale as ever, but there was a spark of life in his eyes that had been absent for months. He approached the bulletin board, a piece of parchment clutched in his hand. Propping his cane against the wall, he carefully unlocked the glass case and posted the following announcement:
Quote:
When:
Saturday, March 16.
OCC: Oct. 31 Where:
Hogsmeade Village
Who can attend:
All students, regardless of year.
What to bring:
Your permission slip and money
Your best behavior
He locked the glass case, his dark hair spilling into his eyes as he shook his head.
"I can't believe he approved it..." he mumbled under his breath. It hadn't been easy, but somehow got Scrimgeour to agree to allow the Hogsmeade trip! He didn't know what was more astonishing, that or the fact that he'd managed to hide his nervousness and anger long enough to have a conversation with the old man in the first place.
He started to turn away but stopped as something caught his eye. Upon first glance, it looked like an ordinary study group notice, but something about that signoff piqued his curiosity. Hmm.. perhaps someone should check that out.
