Jackson had finished the summaries and was putting back the second book, when he heard someone walking nearby. He hadn’t looked over, as he figured it was a student minding their own business, but lo and behold! He turned towards the voice and greeted his professor with a small nod. “Hello, Professor, of course,” Jackson answered in a hushed tone. He tucked his book of choice under his arm and began walking towards the creatures section. He hadn’t spent much time in that aisle if he was being honest, but he had had to visit it a few times for clarification. “If you don’t mind my asking, Sir, a handbook for what?” Jackson asked both out of curiosity and because it helped with leading the professor to the right shelf.

But mostly because he was curious.
