Jackson had not expected any further interactions today, but... here he was. He hesitated briefly, but also didn't doubt that the Headmaster was expecting someone at almost 9pm. Not knowing enough about the Headmaster's "inner circle," Jackson chose to err on the side of caution. "Please allow me to escort you, Sir..." he offered, hoping to get more information from the man... you know, like his name for starters.
The young man seemed surprised to see him, which was to be expected this late. He had been setting things up to his liking in the barns and checking on the animals to see how much of a variety he had to work with. He was also contemplating the experiments he could possibly conduct...he was sure Tristan wouldn't like that. A mischievous grin slipped across his lips.
The prefect seemed to be questioning who he was and why he was here. Insolent child!
"That would be Professor Petrov, I am the Creatures professor now. Not that it's any of your business." Alek said with a slight sneer. Hera hissed at the student, not liking the tone the child had given him. He paused to calm the ebony and ivory snake,
"Show me the way. Now." He said with a look that would creep anyone out.
