Dorian did not answer immediately and instead thought about it. He preferred meditating alone but he guessed that company wouldn't hurt anyone. He was just nervous that he would be a distraction. "Let me think about later" he said which meant that it was not a yes or no.
A transfer student! Now his question from earlier made sense. "Oh man, sorry to tell you but you transfered at the wrong time" he said with a light chuckle. "Professors are getting fired by the new Headmaster for the dumbest reasons. Your Head of House got fired for letting us drink in class" he mentioned after the guy told him he was in Slytherin.
"My dad was in Slytherin but im in Ravenclaw" he watched CL put away his things away in his bag "And im Dorian. Fourth year." he looked up at the sky and sighed again. He sighed a lot these days, it was a wonder he hadn't been thrown in detention for sighing too often. Which school did you transfer from?"
"yeah man no worries" they did just meet after all he didnt expect a "yes" right away. slinging his backpack over his shoulders he leaned against the railing.
"for sure at the wrong time, everyone seems to be soo on edge" wait did he say staff are getting fired?? man it was a lot worse than he thought.
"drinking in class... to bad i missed that but wow!" did the old head of house loose their mind or something...
"oh nice to meet you Dorian... yeah i came from Ilvermorny its in the states, i lived in southern Canada and it was the closest school, it wasnt too bad the food was great though, i have to get used to the stuff here" so many carbs, everything seemed so heavy he felt like he was gaining alot of weight.
"so what can you do around here other than trying to find a quite place, ive been too afraid to wonder around incase i get like accidental detention, who knows what kind of "punshiments" he made air quotes with his fingers
