Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite Jessa blinked at the man, openly confused by his address. Unbelievable, even when she wasn’t the one to raise the alarm. Briefly, the Ravenclaw turned her gaze to Derf, wondering why the man felt the need to go on about tea to her and her paying more attention....when she hadn’t said anything at all. Curious enough, with him addressing concerns she hadn’t been the one to raise, he hadn’t acknowledge the only thing she’d actually said. By all indications, Professor Davis had ignored her request.
While she had raised her hand, no words had been spoken on the matter from her lips. The suggestion that should she have taken a closer luck she’d have seen was now impossible with the table made invisible. For all she knew, he could be lying or trying to lower them into a false sense of security. No way of knowing now.
His explanation on his throat almost got a raise of her brow, but her expression remained largely impassive. If he was sick with a sore throat, there were potions he could take that would fix it without him having to sip tea. It was a flimsy excuse at best, one she didn’t think would stand with the Headmaster so it was of little more assurance than the Ancient Runes Professor’s “promise”.
The Head Girl wasn’t sure what to make of any of it. Did that mean...it was okay.....?
With no real indication of what was now acceptable and the lesson beginning, Jessa simply took a seat on a yoga mat by the back, still in full uniform as neither Professor had told her no. At this point, she doubted she’d be able to have a calm mind from meditation but she closed her eyes all the same. While there was no altered breathing on her end, she did her best not to zone out as she was more apt to do when these sorts of exercises began. Not an easy feat with your mind now buzzing.
