Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

Jessa barely registered Juni’s arrival until the girl spoke the very words she’d been thinking. It DID seem like that was the intention of the remaining professors, didn’t it? She sucked in a breath, her hand still raised and waiting to be acknowledged. It wasn’t until Derf showed up and asked what had been on her mind that it finally went to her side.

The Professor making the table invisible didn’t make things better because her colleague was still there sipping. He was still breaking the rules, and carelessly so. It made Jessa’s stomach knot uncomfortable to the point she felt physically ill.

The fact it’d been disillusioned told her it wasn’t needed at the moment—later in the lesson maybe? But it didn’t explain why Davis was sipping it. Were they to sip it at some point later in the lesson? That didn’t make her feel any better. The man’s cavalier attitude toward something that was now giving her so much grief only had her questioning the motives of this lesson even more.

Then the woman said that. Forgive her for growing all the more sceptical but Kennedy had said the same thing and look what that got him. It was insane to think these professors considered rule breaking okay. If it really was as simple as class requiring different clothes, why didn’t they run it by the Headmaster? If it was so okay, then it shouldn’t have been a problem asking. Unless they did ask. But then, why not just say That when Derf asked? It would be infinitely more reassuring than a flimsy “it’ll be okay”. Couldn’t do jack with a “it’ll be okay. Promise”. The promise was little more than the grass out on the grounds to the Ravenclaw—scratch that, the grass had more value.

“I don’t mind the discomfort, Professor.” She said quietly, blue eyes still on the spot the table was at. If the only reason for ignoring the rule was comfort, then she would pass on that. “I could also charm my uniform to be more efficient throughout the course of the lesson.”
