Even with everything going on lately with teachers being sacked drama, and drama of just being a Hogwarts student drama Juniper was pretty much over the moon excited about this joint lesson of Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. Her two favorite subjects in one lesson. And she enjoyed the professors of both subjects. She was so excited about the lesson.
That was until she read down more on the notice about the lesson. The fact that it was in the Arithmancy Tea and Meditation Room was already a sign that drinks were possibly going to be bad. At wasn’t until she had gotten to the last part that really added the icing to the cake. Under the what to bring was Comfortable, athletic attire to change into. To change into, was that being sneaky? Or wasn’t it.
Now that she had been dreading this class for a week now. Or however long it had been. She left the Ravenclaw tower and headed to the tea and meditation room. Less thrilled about the lesson then when she first seen the notice.
Her bag was jammed packed with her books for both subjects, notebooks for both and of course and very reluctantly the change of clothes, her Ravenclaw long sleeved t shirt, jogging pants, and sneakers the same thing that she had opted for in the CoMC lesson were they were to wear comfortable clothes.
As she headed into the classroom, she almost ran into the head girl who was standing by the door. ”Oh sorry Jessa.” She stopped and looked around to see why the head girl was there at the door. As she looked around she noticed the tea cart by the Arithmancy professor. She let out a sigh, saying to Jessa. ”It’s like they want us to break the rules.” The sixth year honestly didn’t understand it. Kennedy had been sacked for providing drinks during a lesson, his last lesson. Wayland could have just as easily been sacked for having/letting them wear comfortable clothes for the lesson.
The Ravenclaw captain just shook her head at the head girl and sighed as she headed on into the classroom. So she was staying. Or for now at least. She choose the mat closest to the door, for a quick escape. She did see the board saying to enter silencely, so that meant no greeting the professors? Good she wasn’t planning on it not now. Providing drinks, trying to get them to break the rules or something. Then to change, again that was breaking another rule, but if they were doing something that wouldn’t be comfortable in robes and find a mat. She had her mat and she was standing on it, arms crossed in front of her chest waiting to be told to when to sit down when the lesson starts.
