The Prefects had been gone for what felt like a very long time.
He shifted nervously, wondering if the Headmaster would appear and send Kennedy somewhere... He bit his lip and then tried his hardest to focus on the lesson at hand.
Chase watched as the lesson's activity shifted from observing the lunar eclipse to playing shadow tag in tandem to the Professor's lost facial expression. His eyebrows raised as Beth went up to offer something to the Prof. Normally he would have scoffed, rolled his eyes, and made a comment like 'Teacher's Pet' but, in this instance, he didn't. Something felt wrong.
Professor Kennedy was never one to seem so absent-minded and lost.
Chase almost was lost in his own thoughts until he heard a fellow classmate made an intriguing comment. Maybe we'll be lucky and the dictator will die soon. He smirked at what she called their new Headmaster. He, too, had his own names for the man. "Maybe we can figure out what the dictator is up too?"
With that being said, he took a step forward to participate in the game but then found himself halting his steps when Hanna had stepped on his shadow. UNFAIR!! He frowned, trying his hardest to move, but found that he was glued to the grass. "Well... nice Hanna... I wasn't expecting you.." he chuckled and shook his head. Now where was little Lucas? Help out an older Gryffindor, would you? A friend of your sister's maybe? Yes?
