And speaking of Lynley... "No, not yet," she admitted. "But I will soon. And I am sure that she will take the news better this time." Because now she was a mother herself. So yeah... Hopefully it wouldn't be as problematic? At any rate, she was not going to kill Gabby's happiness. She was ecstatic over the pregnancy.
Patiently she waited for her husband to return with the refills. She had really lucked out with him. Archer reached across the table to take her hands, striking her fingers as she spoke. He nodded. "Some people just don't appreciate a good thing until it's gone." Not that he was saying Gabby should quit or anything, but if she wasn't there they'd certainly notice.
Archer smirked, thinking back to some of his previous encounters with the woman. "I'm sure she will. How's her little one going?" Archer couldn't really remember anything about it. He couldn't even think back to whether it was a young boy or girl. "At least we can say this one was planned." The previous announcements, from what he recalled, were not taken well.
He placed the drink in front of her, and sat back down with lunch menus. "Are you feeling hungry?" He hoped she'd remembered to keep up with the potion from Zhenya.
