OR maybe it had to do with the fact that she had a very fast metabolism and got full all too easily during actual meal times.

Whatever it was, the point of the matter was that she was hungry.

The Gryffindor climbed through to the kitchens, walking up in search of some dumb House Elf to fetch her some leftovers. "Julie," she sidled up next to the seventh year, somewhat surprised to see her here, but still giving her a smile all the same. Shouldn't she be... studying or something?

"Feels like I haven't seen you in forever..." Actually, "which is preeetty weird 'cause I've been hanging with Jessa a lot lately." Zoryn wasn't dumb. She knew there was some sort of beef there. "Did something happen between you guys?" Zoryn was feigning all sorts of oblivious. Someone hand her the Oscar, PLEASE!

SPILL !! THE !! TEA !!
Julie had been standing there for exactly two minutes when a pair of footsteps too heavy to be a House-elve's whipped her head right around only to find herself now walking instep with a mildly surprised looking Zoryn Spinnet. The feeling was mutual as Julie hadn't expected any sort of company at all... an oversight considering the how Scrimgeour was cooping them all up. "Hey there, Zoryn." she greeted, her surprise melting away to reveal a warm smile. They were not the very best of friends (shout out to Mairwen Baines and Faith Chosen) but that didn't mean Julie couldn't be pleased to see her.

..... Maybe she could strike that last bit.

Gryffindors, they were as unsubtle as a enraged erumpent. It wasn't like the Seventh Year hadn't expected questions, it was obvious something had happened between herself and jessa and only natural that the noses of others would find their way into it. She'd just been hoping to avoid it for a little while longer- like maybe forever. "It's NEWTs year, any spare time I've got is spent with my nose in a book." Julie casually said, her green eyes on the lookout for any loitering elves. Her demeanor was calm, aloof even despite her lower belly turning nastily. "Why is that weird?" She laughed, tossing her head and grinning at Zoryn like they were having a perfectly charming and not at all anxiety-inducing conversation. "I admit, you and Jessa aren't very similar but I've certainly seen stranger friendships." No, she couldn't think of any at the moment, but that was beside the point. Julie was trying to be elusive and difficult, and listing instances of skrewts and puppies cuddling wasn't ether.
