He didn't really know the Headmaster properly - and didn't want to get to know him - but he was sure that the man grunted because..... that was normal for him. And then the man started speaking and he..... didn't know how to feel. He didn't said it was WRONG, did he? Not really. Just that there was a better spell to use than Petrificus Totalus. Which got him thinking about the spell the man was talking about. He..... didn't really know a lot of spells? He knew SOME but..... a shorter spell wasn't coming to him. Not right now.
......... And he really REALLY hoped they weren't going to be attacked by multiple Red Caps. No, thank you.

It was time. It was time to go into the Forbidden Forest that was forbidden but they were going in there. For.......... education?
Yeah. That did NOT help Lucas feel better. Not at all.
He gripped his wand as tightly as he could, already feeling his hands getting very sweaty, the closer and closer they got to the Forest. And they were properly outside but it didn't feel like they were. Maybe he'd just..... need to keep close to someone who was better at the magical thing? Yeah. He silently hoped that the Ravenclaw he was standing behind knew more than he did. And Stella probably knew a lot too.
Lucas tried not to say anything when they set foot inside the Forest and they were faced with obstacles. They were small - like boulders and tall branches - but they still made him feel worse. Branches snagged on his robes and he almost tripped over that boulder back there and he....... couldn't help but wonder HOW he was going to face a bunch of Red Caps like this.
Yeah...... he did not like this.
