Trying not to shiver too much, Natalie just held STILL and waited for class to begin. She saw a figure stop next to her and saw Sylvie join her. She gave her a welcoming smile, but dared not to speak.
Thankfully, the urge to make conversation subdued when the Headmaster began class as ominous as ever. Oh, and even more dangerous because APPARENTLY they were going into the Forbidden Forest today. You know, the FOREST that was FORBIDDEN. Natalie hid her disapproval behind her scarf and continued to listen to his... instruction. Which basically sounded like "don't be stupid or you'll die". Awesome.
Now they were talking about all the things that could kill them in the forest. COOL. Natalie wracked her brain for a creature, knowing that she had to find a good answer because sometimes silence was taken for stupidity.
She raised her hand. "There are centaurs, sir. While they're not naturally dark creatures, they have had a tense history with us and they can prove to be dangerous, especially if you challenge them." So, she would be... not.. challenging them. |
