" You know I didn't really mean to come here, I was just wondering around and seen the view and thought it was pretty so stopped to look at it before I knew it I was in my own little world!" she said giggling at herself. She uad to have some laughter, heaven knows what will happen for the next couple of months she just hoped everything will be ok in the end. She was counting the days until Mr. Beady Eye Stone Face was sacked and his Mini me also known as the Divinations Professor.
She nodded. "Yeah I know what you mean, with all these stupid rules how can we have fun?" she asked him. "Oh...that's right, no fun allowed he forbids it! she said rolling her eyes in annoyance. She wasn't even sure if they were suppose to be out right now, wasn't there a rule on that as well? With so many rules she forgot, oh...well she needed some fresh air in her defense. " I wanted this year to be happy filled with happiness and magic as well as dreams, just felt like the Headmaster is a dementor sucking out every ounce of happiness and joy in our souls." she said softly sighing. "Not even close by a long shot, that's for sure." she said agreeing with him.
Stella bit her lip for a second, she didn't know that it will anytime soon but she did have faith. " I do believe it will, I have faith it will just no anytime soon." she said sadly. One of the only things here that hasn't changed? He bit his lip, trying to hold back a laugh. It was just..... one of those things. It shouldn't be funny because it was sad but he kind of..... found it funny? Yeah. "You're probably right, you know." He.... didn't really know because he had no idea what the school was like before but..... yeah. "Yeah?" he asked, glancing over at her, "That sounds like a happy accident. Or a happy adventure. Maybe..... it could be your usual hangout?" Meaning, he would know where to find her if she wasn't in the common room.
This time, he did laugh because it really was funny. "Yeah, I bet he never had fun when he was younger so that's why he's doing all this. All these rules." See? He was smart. "I wish we could have fun. I mean..... this is our home as well, yeah? For..... a few months? So we should be able to have fun here." It was simple logic.
Happiness and magic and dreams. Lucas found himself agreeing to what she was saying, nodding along as she spoke. It was..... weird, really, how right she was about it all. Especially the dementor part. He visibly shivered when she mentioned it but she was still right. "Maybe he could go and join the dementors, instead. You know, in Azkaban. They'd love him over there." The dementors, not the prisoners. "Sucks, doesn't it?" He placed his arms on the rails and then his chin on the backs of his hands and just..... looked at the view. At the sky, mostly, and the mountains in the distance and..... yeah.
When Stella said she had faith in a change, Lucas turned to look at her. He was mostly looking to see if she was joking or being serious but he knew that as soon as he looked at her face. And her answer? Yeah..... that made his chest hurt. They weren't seers and didn't know what was going to happen but he liked to believe Stella's words. "You're probably right," he mumbled, "As sad as it is, I guess we just..... have to wait it out and see." Yeah. Definitely sad.
