| October was quickly coming to an end. Hallowe’en was days away, and he certainly was not in a festive food. Holidays were so trivial, especially ones that had little meaning behind them and were only an excuse for children to beg for sweets and rot their teeth. But today, a day that was seemingly like any other, there was something he found worth celebrating. "Right this way, Ainsworth," the man grunted, pointing a metal finger at the entrance to the first floor once they had made it to the landing.
Scrimgeour continued to lead the way as the duo stepped into the rugs and bypassed portrait after portrait. They soon passed the History of Magic classroom without a moment of hesitation and continued around the corner to... "Ahh, Stewart," the headmaster said, his voice unnervingly smooth and cold. "Just the person I wanted to see."
Without saying another word, he pulled out from his pocket an envelope, sealed with the Hogwarts emblem, and held it out to the woman. His face remained expressionless and stone-like, but on the inside he was feeling like a boy on Christmas morning sitting in front of his presents under the tree.
