Although as they always say, fantasy was some times better then reality. In this case, being around the Headmaster and Divinations Professor she sure felt that way, but she found not all the Professor's were like them. She didn't want them to go or leave and they be left with people like the Headmaster and Divinations Professor that was her fear.
Pushing these thoughts from her head, she turned to Lucas and smiled. " I guess you could say that, just needed some peace and quiet you know?" she asked him sighing. " Just the beginning of the school year didn't start as I expected it would, feels like were in a military school." she said quietly but to where he could hear her. She didn't know who was around or was ears and eyes could be spying. What made the greeting worse? The way she jumped. He almost felt bad for disturbing her but they were friends, right? Which made it okay, right? It was like when he disturbed Emma but he knew she wouldn't mind because they were close.
So, he stayed. Right there. But ready to move if she showed that she didn't want to be distur-
Oh. Was that a smile?
Relaxing slightly, Lucas smiled back and moved to stand right next to her, still leaning on the railing but this time looking out at the grounds as well. She was talking about peace and quiet and if there was anyone who understood how it felt to get some peace and quiet, it was him. "Peace and quiet is nice. And it's a nice view so I don't blame you coming out here." But he did glance over at her when she sighed because it wasn't.... it was a.....
...... something was wrong. And he could tell because that's what that sigh was telling him.
And then she mentioned military school and he understood completely. He felt something drop in his stomach because, yeah, this did feel like military school. And he didn't know what military school was like and it was only his first ever year at Hogwarts but it wasn't..... as great as he was expecting it to be. And that's what sucked. "Yeah....." he started, fiddling with his fingers as he talked. He paused for a moment but then slowly came to realise that if she could tell him how she was feeling, so could he. "I always.... thought Hogwarts would be great. I mean, you hear all these stories about it and think that it's going to be the the place of your dreams but even better. But..... it's not. It's not even close." Which sucked. Majorly. "Do you think it'll get better?"
