Benji had been TORN before coming down here. Headmaster says wear robes at all times. Class rules say don't wear robes. Who was he supposed to listen to?! In the end, he wore something comfortable and brought his robes with him JUST IN CASE. He figured if it came down to it, he could just put his robes on over his comfortable Muggle clothes and nobody would even be able to tell. Although he was a little stressed that he was going to get in trouble... What if the headmaster walked in like he had in Muggle Studies and saw him without robes on and gave him detention and chained him up and beat him or WORSE, sent an owl to his PARENTS and then they would murder him for sure get him in big trouble?!

Merlin, it was all too much to think about. So instead of choosing one, he just sorta... did both.

"Hello, Professor," he said upon entering the hay bale semi-circle outside the Barn. "Nice afternoon, isn't it?" He looked around and quickly realized that he wasn't the only one who hadn't worn full robes to the lesson. Thank goodness.
