Joshua kept kicking at the barrel for a good 5 minutes before he gave up. It didn't change the state of his laundered clothes and he was a adult man and a wizard. He could transfigure his clothes back easily but what he really wanted to do was to ask a house elf why his clothes looked they did. Joshua wanted to get to the bottom of WHY!
It was then that he heard with some moments lapse how the door to the laundry slammed shut twice with some slammign. Nobody came over to him by the laundry station though which was odd. "Is anyone there? If you need laundry help then i'd be happy to assist!"
