| AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'M SO LATE. (also, pink) ½ of Lauralie | Koala | The being in Ern's pocket | Baby Smurf | Prouf member of The Flock Faith was late -- not that this was a surprise, really, because Faith Chosen was late for everything and had been late for tryouts now three years running. And running she was. Run-run-running. Zoomin'. All the zooms. "Hey Merlin," she panted. "If it's not too much work, could you maybe have this NOT disqualify me? Thanks." Pant pant. "Owe you a million."
Anyway, she did eventually make it to the pitch. And just in time for warmups! And in time to pout at Zoryn because she didn't wake her up. AGAIN. And to note Beau's decision to wear his pants on top of his trousers. Weird.
STRETCHY TIME. Stretching was super duper mega important for keepers, because that tiny half inch of an extra strech can be the whole difference between saving a goal and not saving a goal. Which was vital, because that was their whole job. NO QUAFFLES PAST THIS AREA. Except this area was the Keeper. YEAH. She totally knew what was up, even though she was super duper late and all this mental activity was probably because she was freaking out just a tiny little bit.
Did she really have to say her position? She was in such an awkward pose in this stretch and it was kinda hard to talk. And everyone KNEW Faith Chosen was a keeper. HEH. A KEEPER. That's funny. She should put it on her Incendio profile. Anyway. Was it really really necessary? Everyone else seemed to be doing it. OH WELL. Monkey see, monkey do.
"Keeper!" she chirped, in the space between two stretches, and then got back to business.
O K A Y. Now that she was all limbered up, the blonde Gryffindor got onto her broom and was it laps time? How many la-- "That's not funny," she grumbled, kicking off into the air anyway. She wasn't gonna go fast, she had to use these laps to warm up and calibrate herself and her broom for the flying they'd do later, so it was way way way more important to steer well. And then she'd just speed up at the last lap.
Except she got bored after the first lap and a half and did her zooms for the remaining laps. NYOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM went the keeper. And when those were over, and she was told to either fly through the hoops or tap them with her wand, she obviously flew through. Because DUH. Besides, she didn't want to snap her wand because she wanted to fly through the hoop FAST FAST FAST.
All this running in the morning was pumping her veins full of adrenaline and she just wanted to GO ZOOM.
WAIT WAIT WHERE WAS HER PRETTY PINK HOOP GOING? SHE LIKED THAT HOOP. ANNA. HEY ANNAAAAAAAA. GIVE IT BAAAAAAAAAACK.
No. THIRTY seconds? Forreal? "This is AWESOME!"
Later, 'gators! ALL THE ZOOMS! |
