Was it awkward for your Runes Professor to be seen hanging out around the Gryffindor Tower? Perhaps. But Katrina was here on a mission because it has been something like 20 or 25 years since she'd been up in the tower and she was curious if the Fat Lady would remember her. That and she also wanted to see if she could recall which dormitory was hers and who might be sleeping in her former bed.
It was amazing to her how both so much and so little had changed. All the professors were of course different, and different students naturally, but behaviors seemed ... oddly familiar. Apparently teenagers will always be teenagers no matter the decade. Pausing outside the portrait she gave a small smile mostly as she reminisced over the time she was required to listen to the lady sing for FIVE HOURS before she would let her into the common room.
