So... were they actually supposed to DO things to address what they had observed in the plants? Wishart hadn't said. Abra's Tentacula definitely needed some water and probably could do with a little fertiliser too, and he'd put that in his notes, just as they had been told to do. He was, however, a little lost on whether the professor actually wanted them to do those things, or if they were supposed to wait until later, when the plants had been placated with food or something. A quick, furtive glance at those around them told Abra that some people were going ahead and catering to their plant's needs, which did make the most sense, but he wasn't so sure how to proceed himself.

There was only one thing for it. He was going to have to ask for clarification. Not such a crazy thing to do generally, sure, but already he had started imagining all sorts, like that he would be accused of not listening to instructions or something equally as dreadful. So, he had to steel himself a bit before raising a gloved hand. "Professor? Did you want us to do the trimming or watering or fertilising if our plant needs it? Or do we just write it down for now?"

In the meantime, Abra still needed to feed his Venomous Tentacula, so he headed up to the barrel of dead chizpurfles and grabbed a small handful, just to be sure he had enough. If he was supposed to be caring for the Tentacula by giving it water and fertiliser, he wanted to make sure it was as full and 'drowsy' (could plants really get drowsy?) as it could get, and that meant feeding it up.

"Here you go," Abra said, offering his plant the dead chizpurfles. He was aware that it couldn't hear him, but it acted so much like an actual creature that he couldn't help but talk to it. Wasn't that supposed to be good for plants anyway?
