One girl looked like she’d twisted her ankle and some kids looked about ready to drop.

The young girl had no intention of being another casualty of this horrendous exercise.

“Wouldn’t even have to fake one. A bit of triggered breathing should send me on the way.” She commented lightly, already knowing it was entirely possible to send herself into an asthma attack if she really tried.

The thing was, while someone could finish the pitch in 20 minutes by walking, she wasn’t walking at a normal pace—she was matching perfectly with Zoryn here. Factor in walking back to the castle, showering, getting ready AGAIN. It would be time for the first lesson before she knew it.

Blue eyes trailed the length of the pitch once before looking to her current walking company. “Gotta say, I’m almost tempted to find out what those punishments for skipping are. Ravenclaw wasn’t going to win the cup anyway so points won’t matter.” And detentions, while boring, were probably not likely to be worse than this. “What’re the chances Scrimgeour would give everyone detention if we all woke up tomorrow deciding we don’t feel like laps?”

Just a curious question, mostly. Jessa often contemplated things from all angles.
Zoryn didn't care about the kids who were getting injured. End of story.

Anyways, moving on, she was quite happy going slowly. And she was going to make absolutely sure that this five laps nonsense was worth her while. Aka she was ONE HUNDRED percent using it an as excuse to be late to class. No matter what the Head Monster was trying to scare them into. She'd be late and there'd be nothing he could do about it. Zoryn Spinnet made the rules here, soz.

"Perfect," she wasn't sure if she meant it because y'know, an asthma attack wasn't something she ACTUALLY wanted Jessa to undergo. But they were walking five laps at way-too-early o'clock, her filter hadn't kicked in yet and neither had her common sense (which she didn't have a lot of at a normal hour anyways).

For the record, Zoryn liked the way Jessa thought about things. Especially when it meant rebellion. "I don't care about winning the house cup," in other words, Zoryn was in. All of these thoughts had Zoryn thinking. They could really do this. They could start a resistance. They could REBEL. They could RUN this school-- which, by the way, would be the main motive. "There's only one of him.... Two if you count the new Divinations Professor," she glared at him from across the pitch. That's how she felt about that guy. "And just about a million of us," she may have been exaggerating just a bit but the point still stood. "I'd say our odds are pretty good."
