As Zoryn approached Abra and Théo, slinging an arm around each of them and greeting them the way that she did, Abra managed a smile for her. "Hey Zoryn," he replied, allowing her to continue standing with an arm draped around his shoulders but still stretching his own arms out in front of himself. "All set?" Of course she was, she was Zoryn Spinnet; very rarely was she not ready and raring to go.
Abra gave a nod of greeting to each of the others as they turned up, in a show of politeness and general respect towards his peers. Mostly, he was really ready to get up in the air and get started; anticipating a nerve-wracking thing was about a thousand times worse than actually doing the thing itself.
Luckily, there wasn't long to wait at all, because Anna soon got things started. Abra was quiet and reasonably attentive as she addressed them all, his gaze occasionally drifting up to the sky where he longed to be flying already. Anna seemed a little, uhhh... well... nervous. Abra didn't think he'd ever heard her talk this much before, and a lot of that was probably to do with the fact that you did have to say a fair bit when running a tryout, but she definitely did seem to be driven by nerves today. Completely understandable, and utterly relatable. Abra tried to shoot her an encouraging smile as she told them exactly what they all needed to do, then made a start on following her instructions.
"Abra Botros," Abra said to Anna. She knew his name, but you know, she'd asked for it again, so... "Trying out for Seeker." Beater was probably his second choice, but Seeking was really where Abra's heart lay, so that was what he would be focusing on.
With that information supplied, Abra continued with what he had already sort of started doing earlier. He stretched out his arms, pulling each across his chest and pinning it there for a few moments each, then moved onto doing slow windmill arms. He stretched out his leg muscles by pulling his legs this way and that, and did some back stretches and hip rotations and a whole bunch of leeeeeeans. When he felt suitably stretched, Abra picked up his broom again and moved away into a space so he wouldn't accidentally smack into anyone, swung his leg over it, and finally - thankfully - kicked off into the air.
Five laps. Given that he was on a broom, it would be remarkably easy compared to the other sort of laps they had been doing around the pitch every day.
