School had started almost a month ago and Natalie was surprised by how fast time had gone. It had been good, though. She had been in a MUCH better mood than she had been last year, so already things were looking up.
It was a Saturday morning after the treacherous morning run that the Headmaster was forcing onto them. Luckily her body had started to get used to it and she didn't feel as dead afterwards as she had that first time. She had gone to shower and clean up and then changed into a sweater and some jeans to take a walk.
The bridge was where she went to enjoy a good view and, usually, some peace and quiet. Natalie reached into her pocket and pulled out some cookies she had received from her mum in the owl post and munched on them as she looked out over the grounds. |
