The Hufflepuff tryout was scheduled bright and early on a Saturday and Bel, being a morning person, had already been awake for some time and was pretty happy with how the day was shaping up so far. Excited about tryouts too. Quidditch in general, really. She was sitting comfortably on top of the chest that contained the Quidditch balls with her broom across her knees and a clipboard, a water bottle, and some goggles haphazardly on the grass near her feet. Not daydreaming exactly, just enjoying the morning sun on her legs while she could still get away with shorts and not freeze all her limbs off. All Hufflepuff gear though of course. Especially the captains badge. That bit was probably important for anyone who hadn't met her... especially since she'd not been at the feast.

Oh look, the first of the hopefuls were arriving! Bel watched them come across the field and offered a casual wave.

"Come on over! I just wanna check everyone off as they come. So come on over and start stretching or you can run a bit if that's your jam, and then when everyone is here, share your name and a bit about your Quidditch experience with the group okay?" Yep. At least... when there was enough of them there to call it a group. Also? No sign of an obstacle course this term.

Hmmmm.

Straaaange? Maybe. Maybe not. She had something planned of course. Hopefully they'd enjoy it!

ooc: Welcome to the tryouts for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team! All puffs are welcome no matter what year! There is no visible sign of any kind of obstacle course or set up aside from Bel sitting on an equipment trunk. To begin you can post your charrie warming up (stretching, running, whatever they like). You can include them addressing the group with their name and quidditch experience in the same post if you like, or you can divide it into two, its completely up to you. I'll move on when we have a few people, and then you can expect a post from me at least once every 24 hours. You can post as much or as little as you like throughout the tryouts - no pressure! Don't forget to take the survey. Please note, while Bel is seeker, if anyone has a charrie that IC wants to try out as seeker (and be a reserve) then they are more than welcome to do so. Feel free to VM or PM with any questions. And lets have fun!
