With her eyes still focused on the Venomous Tentacula sitting on the table before, Rylee pushed her chair back far enough to hopefully be out of reach of its vines. Reaching down for her bag she quickly fished out a sheet of parchment, her quill and her textbook to use as a table.

Pulling one leg up under her onto the chair she was able to balance her textbook on her leg so she could take notes. For now. Switching her wand to her right hand she was ready.
