Well, thank goodness the plants were devenomed before the lesson.
With her gloves on, Lex poked the plant in front of her gently. Weird things, weren't they? She drew her hand back as the vines responded to her touch.
She raised her hand at Professor Wishart's question, and patiently waited her turn to answer.
"Their bite can be fatal," she said, "because of their venom. You said these ones have been de-venomed, so I suppose we don't have to worry about that. But... their teeth could still hurt us."
She smiled at Professor Wishart. She liked him so far... much more than some of the other new staff. And Herbology wasn't so bad anyways. |
