Five laps?
FIVE?
Lex sighed miserably (but not loud enough for Headmaster Scrimgeour to hear her, hopefully), and bent down to quickly make sure her shoes were securely tied. Her newfound clumsiness would NOT be her friend, she decided.
As Lex began to break out into a slow jog, she noticed that a small piece of paper was being passed around in front of her. What was that about? She kept quiet - maybe she'd find out in due time what the note was, but she wasn't too keen on making any trouble.
As she continued to jog around the pitch, her thoughts were mostly focused on how tired she was, and how much she really didn't want to trip over her own two feet - or someone else's, for that matter. She stayed at a steady pace, finishing her first lap without much trouble (apart from the whiny voice in her head that wanted to give up and go to sleep).
