There was absolutely no way he was capable of running laps EVERY. SINGLE. MORNING. Nope nope nope. He got a painful stitch just from walking the four floors to the library. And all that stuff about it kickstarting the brain???? The only thing he needed to get his morning kickstart was a strong cup of coffee.
Max glanced helplessly at the other Professors, wondering when one of them was gonna crack and yell ‘HAAAH! GOTCHAAA!’ Because this had to be some sort of weird start-of-term elaborate prank, right?
RIGHT????
It appeared not, because people were already setting off for their laps.
Grumbling moodily under his breath, Max leaned down to fake tie his shoelaces in an attempt to delay the inevitable and think of some kind of escape plan.
