Bernie was nervous ... something about plants that could move on their own made him a little scared. Okay let's be real everything around Hogwarts made him scared. He still wasn't used to this magic business.

But none the less he was determined to make the best of it until he was used to it ... or rather went him crying one of the two. So doing as he was told he placed his gloves on his hands and took a seat .... praying that those plants didn't see him. Maybe it's like that movie Jurassic Park he had seen.... if you don't move they can't see you.
