Anna swatted at her brother's hand as he tried to 'fix her badge and robes and hair' because she had to look 'presentable' from now on and 'be a role model' and all of that nonsense. "Get off!" She finished, pushing him aside and moving faster to enter the Great Hall before he did.
The now fourth year BEAMED as soon as she saw it all. The room was beautiful as always, but this time it had a special shine to it for SOME REASON. Heeheehee!
Hurrying before her brother could come bother her some more and hoping he'd go straight to the Slytherin table to be with his girlfriend, the brand new Captain still had her hair and robes somewhat wet because of the rain, but she honestly didn't care. She looked much worse after Quidditch matches anyway, so people should be used to it by now. "HELLO, GRYFFINDOR!!" She greeted her housemates enthusiastically, also spreading her arms out for the added emphasis the Meriwethers loved so much.
Oh, she did notice the doom and gloom mood some people were in, but she decided that was going to be a GOOD and HAPPY and UPBEAT feast no matter what some people tried to do - yes, she had noticed Beau already being his usual grumpy self and all.
Taking a seat next to Stas, she looked over at the staff table. "Ohh, new people!" Anna happily commented before letting out a LOUD gasp once she noticed HIRSCH - her favourite professor ever for very specific reasons - wasn't there anymore. She looked around to see if she would spot him somewhere else, but nothing so far. Maybe he was late. She hoped so, yes. "My word, professor Marchand looks like death!" And she kind of wasn't even exaggerating that much. Merlin! |
