| Mentions of everyone <3 Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict The rain hadn’t bothered Stasya too much. Plus, it was just water. A lot of it, of course, but she was pretty sure there wasn’t anything magical about it. Just a weird early autumn storm, or maybe late summer. Either way, she was on school grounds so she’d been able to do magic. Even if she hadn’t exactly gotten her hair completely dry by the time she’d finally stepped into the Great Hall, she figured it’d dry soon enough. Besides, it was her own fault for wanting to make sure Dobby and Albus had gotten safely inside the barn. A quick casting of Impervious hadn’t worked as well as she’d hoped, which had led to a Hot Air charm directed at herself as she walked over toward the Gryffindor table so she wasn’t completely drenched.
Her usual glance up at the staff table happened a second or two later than usual, as she’d waited until she’d gotten settled at a spot sort of near where Abra and Théo were seated. She knew certain professors weren’t going to be there, but that didn’t really completely make her feel like she wanted to know who all was up there. All it really did was keep the surprise from hurting her, and she’d squared her shoulders a little as she resolved not to let it bother her at all. Besides, it wasn’t like she couldn’t write him later. “Hey everyone,” she said, giving Vivian, Chase and Beth smiles. Along with the two boys near her, of course. She didn’t have any reason to ignore them. Besides, there was a bit of curiosity about the appearance of her co-prefect’s eyes and if it had anything to do with the disastrous prefect/captain meeting on the train. Not to mention the question of if Théo was still planning on being an honorary member of Team Animagus.
As she’d finally decided to check the staff table, she’d noticed Sir Nicholas as well. “Good evening Sir Nicholas. You’re looking well,” she greeted him. However well the house ghost could look. “My summer was nice.” He’d asked, after all. It was only polite to answer, while she continued turning her head to peruse to staff table. At least there were a few professors who had stayed. It reminded her of her conversation with Dizzy over the summer, as she tried to remember if she’d told the younger girl about Professor Baldvinsson during their Icelandic discussion. Except, a frown flickered on her face as she saw Professor Marchand. He didn’t look happy to be up there at all.
